Our country guides combine each jurisdiction’s publicly documented classification tests, currency and payment norms with the payment products that actually reach that country. Platform facts — coverage, pricing, capabilities — are taken from vendors’ own public pages and third-party review sites, and dated to when they were checked.
How we recommend platforms
We name a platform only when it fits the specific job on the page. For paying genuine contractors we lead with the most cost-effective, lowest-friction payout option; for employment or liability transfer we point to an Employer of Record or a stated-liability Contractor of Record. Where a tool markets a “contractor of record” product without publishing a misclassification-liability guarantee, we say so and treat it as a payout tool, not a risk transfer.
What we don’t do
We don’t give legal or tax advice, we don’t claim to test every platform in every country, and we don’t let a vendor influence coverage. We don’t inflate a label to make a product sound like more than it is.
Independence & money
Some outbound links are affiliate links — our only revenue — disclosed on every page and never a factor in what we recommend or how we order a list. Spotted something out of date? Rules and prices change constantly; tell us and we’ll re-check and correct it.
